### sec.148B Obtaining particular information from chief executive (employment screening)
The chief executive may ask the chief executive (employment screening) for the following information—
information about whether a relevant person—
holds a working with children authority or negative notice; or
holds a working with children authority that is suspended under the Working with Children Check Act 2000 ; or
has made a working with children check application;
if the relevant person holds a working with children authority—the expiry date for the authority;
if the relevant person holds a negative notice—the date of issue of the notice.
The chief executive (employment screening) must comply with a request under subsection (1) .
In this section—
relevant person means—
an applicant for a certificate of approval or an adult member of the applicant’s household; or
the nominee for, or a director of an applicant for or holder of, a licence.

(sec.148B-ssec.1) The chief executive may ask the chief executive (employment screening) for the following information— information about whether a relevant person— holds a working with children authority or negative notice; or holds a working with children authority that is suspended under the Working with Children Check Act 2000 ; or has made a working with children check application; if the relevant person holds a working with children authority—the expiry date for the authority; if the relevant person holds a negative notice—the date of issue of the notice.
(sec.148B-ssec.2) The chief executive (employment screening) must comply with a request under subsection (1) .
(sec.148B-ssec.3) In this section— relevant person means— an applicant for a certificate of approval or an adult member of the applicant’s household; or the nominee for, or a director of an applicant for or holder of, a licence.
- (a) information about whether a relevant person— (i) holds a working with children authority or negative notice; or (ii) holds a working with children authority that is suspended under the Working with Children Check Act 2000 ; or (iii) has made a working with children check application;
- (i) holds a working with children authority or negative notice; or
- (ii) holds a working with children authority that is suspended under the Working with Children Check Act 2000 ; or
- (iii) has made a working with children check application;
- (b) if the relevant person holds a working with children authority—the expiry date for the authority;
- (c) if the relevant person holds a negative notice—the date of issue of the notice.
- (i) holds a working with children authority or negative notice; or
- (ii) holds a working with children authority that is suspended under the Working with Children Check Act 2000 ; or
- (iii) has made a working with children check application;
- (a) an applicant for a certificate of approval or an adult member of the applicant’s household; or
- (b) the nominee for, or a director of an applicant for or holder of, a licence.
