### sec.143A Further consideration of application for authority
This section applies if the chief executive considers more time is needed to decide an application for an authority because of the nature of the matters that need to be considered in deciding it.
The chief executive and the applicant may at any time before the end of 90 days after the application is properly made agree in writing to extend the period within which the application must be decided.
The agreement must state the period of the extension.
If the chief executive does not decide the application within the period as extended under subsection (2) —
the chief executive is taken to have decided to refuse the application; and
the applicant is taken to have received notice of the decision at the end of the period.

(sec.143A-ssec.1) This section applies if the chief executive considers more time is needed to decide an application for an authority because of the nature of the matters that need to be considered in deciding it.
