### sec.103 Court’s jurisdiction unaffected by pending criminal proceeding
The Childrens Court’s jurisdiction is not affected merely because a criminal proceeding is pending against—
the child concerned; or
a parent of the child; or
another party to the proceeding in the court; or
anyone else.
Subsection (1) applies whether or not the criminal proceeding has arisen out of the same or similar facts as those out of which the proceeding in the court has arisen.
(sec.103-ssec.1) The Childrens Court’s jurisdiction is not affected merely because a criminal proceeding is pending against— the child concerned; or a parent of the child; or another party to the proceeding in the court; or anyone else.
(sec.103-ssec.2) Subsection (1) applies whether or not the criminal proceeding has arisen out of the same or similar facts as those out of which the proceeding in the court has arisen.
- (a) the child concerned; or
- (b) a parent of the child; or
- (c) another party to the proceeding in the court; or
- (d) anyone else.
