### sec.47 Termination of employment of employee and notification of termination of employment
A casino operator must notify the chief executive in the approved form—
that the operator has terminated the employment of a casino key employee or a casino employee; or
that a casino key employee or a casino employee has terminated the employee’s employment with the operator; or
that a casino key employee or a casino employee has otherwise ceased to be the operator’s employee;
within 7 days of such termination of employment or cesser as employee, as the case may be.
Maximum penalty—40 penalty units.
A casino operator shall terminate the employment of a casino key employee or a casino employee within 24 hours after receiving written notice from the chief executive of—
the cancellation or suspension of the licence of the employee; or
the employee otherwise ceasing to be the holder of the appropriate licence.
Maximum penalty—100 penalty units.
The provisions of subsection (2) are sufficient authority for the casino operator to terminate the employment of the employee in question, and the operator is so authorised to terminate such employment notwithstanding the provisions of any other Act or law or of any industrial award or agreement and no liability at law shall attach to the operator by reason of such termination.
