### sec.33 Surrender of casino licence
The Governor in Council, subject to this section, may accept the surrender of a casino licence.
Application for acceptance of surrender shall be made in writing by the casino licensee to the Minister and shall set out in detail the grounds on which it is made.
Upon a consideration of the application and the grounds on which it is made, the Minister shall make a recommendation to the Governor in Council to accept or not to accept the surrender.
The Governor in Council may decide to accept the surrender or not to accept it after taking into consideration the recommendation of the Minister, but the Governor in Council shall not accept the surrender unless the Governor in Council is satisfied that there are circumstances existing in which the continued operation of the casino is not in the best interest of the casino licensee or of the public.
(sec.33-ssec.1) The Governor in Council, subject to this section, may accept the surrender of a casino licence.
