### sec.17 Police commissioner to notify changes in criminal history
This section applies if—
the chief executive gives the police commissioner the name of a relevant person for this section; and
the commissioner reasonably suspects a person who is charged with an offence is the relevant person.
The commissioner must notify the chief executive about the change in the person’s criminal history.
The notice must state the following—
the person’s name and address;
the person’s date of birth;
the offence the person is charged with;
particulars of the offence;
the date of the charge.
The chief executive may confirm the suspicions of the police commissioner under subsection (1) .
In this section—
relevant person means—
a casino key employee; or
a casino employee; or
a casino operator who is an individual; or
an individual identified by the Minister as being associated or connected with the ownership, administration or management of the operations or business of a casino operator.

(sec.17-ssec.1) This section applies if— the chief executive gives the police commissioner the name of a relevant person for this section; and the commissioner reasonably suspects a person who is charged with an offence is the relevant person.
(sec.17-ssec.2) The commissioner must notify the chief executive about the change in the person’s criminal history.
(sec.17-ssec.3) The notice must state the following— the person’s name and address; the person’s date of birth; the offence the person is charged with; particulars of the offence; the date of the charge.
(sec.17-ssec.4) The chief executive may confirm the suspicions of the police commissioner under subsection (1) .
(sec.17-ssec.5) In this section— relevant person means— a casino key employee; or a casino employee; or a casino operator who is an individual; or an individual identified by the Minister as being associated or connected with the ownership, administration or management of the operations or business of a casino operator.
- (a) the chief executive gives the police commissioner the name of a relevant person for this section; and
- (b) the commissioner reasonably suspects a person who is charged with an offence is the relevant person.

- (c) the offence the person is charged with;
- (d) particulars of the offence;
- (e) the date of the charge.
