### sec.97 Restriction on private certifier (class A) extending currency period under Planning Act , s 85 (1) more than once This section applies if the assessment manager is a private certifier (class A) and, under the Planning Act , the currency period under the Planning Act , section 85 (1) for the building development approval has already been extended. The private certifier may further extend the period only if the private certifier has consulted with the local government. Subsection (2) applies despite the Planning Act , chapter 3 , part 3 , division 3 and part 5 , division 4 . s 97 ins 2006 No. 36 s 5 amd 2009 No. 36 s 872 sch 2 ; 2016 No. 27 s 84 (sec.97-ssec.1) This section applies if the assessment manager is a private certifier (class A) and, under the Planning Act , the currency period under the Planning Act , section 85 (1) for the building development approval has already been extended. (sec.97-ssec.2) The private certifier may further extend the period only if the private certifier has consulted with the local government.
