### sec.246ATK Requirement to obtain pool safety certificate for regulated pool that is a shared pool
Subsection (2) applies to the owner of a shared pool on regulated premises if the owner is given a notice under section 246ATF (c) relating to the sale of the premises.
The owner must ensure there is a pool safety certificate in effect for the pool within—
generally—90 days after the day of settlement under the contract of sale for the premises (the usual period ); or
if, during the usual period, the owner becomes a party to a proceeding before QCAT relating to the barrier for the pool—the usual period plus a further period equal to the number of days the owner was a party to the proceeding.
Maximum penalty—165 penalty units.
