### sec.114 No occupation or use of particular buildings without certificate of occupancy
This section applies if—
the building the subject of a building development approval is not—
a single detached class 1a building; or
a class 10 building or structure; and
a certificate of occupancy has not been given for the building.
A person must not occupy or use the building unless the person has a reasonable excuse.
Maximum penalty—165 penalty units.
The owner of the building must, unless the owner has a reasonable excuse, ensure the building is not occupied or used by someone else.

(sec.114-ssec.1) This section applies if— the building the subject of a building development approval is not— a single detached class 1a building; or a class 10 building or structure; and a certificate of occupancy has not been given for the building.
