### sch.3-sec.57 Existing authorised persons under Stock Route Management Act 2002 This section applies to a person who— before the commencement, was appointed under a previous provision of the amended Act as an authorised person; and still held the appointment immediately before the commencement. On the commencement— the person’s appointment as an authorised person under the amended Act continues; and the person is taken to hold office under this Act as an authorised person for this Act on the conditions stated in the person’s instrument of appointment under the amended Act. (sch.3-sec.57-ssec.1) This section applies to a person who— before the commencement, was appointed under a previous provision of the amended Act as an authorised person; and still held the appointment immediately before the commencement. (sch.3-sec.57-ssec.2) On the commencement— the person’s appointment as an authorised person under the amended Act continues; and the person is taken to hold office under this Act as an authorised person for this Act on the conditions stated in the person’s instrument of appointment under the amended Act. - (a) before the commencement, was appointed under a previous provision of the amended Act as an authorised person; and - (b) still held the appointment immediately before the commencement. - (a) the person’s appointment as an authorised person under the amended Act continues; and - (b) the person is taken to hold office under this Act as an authorised person for this Act on the conditions stated in the person’s instrument of appointment under the amended Act.
