### sec.68 Notification of certain office holders
If an incorporated association appoints or elects a secretary for the association under section 65 , the members of the management committee must ensure the association notifies the chief executive in the approved form of the appointment or election within 1 month after it happens.
Maximum penalty for each member of the management committee—2 penalty units.
It is a defence to a prosecution of a member of the management committee for an offence against subsection (1) for the member to prove he or she took all reasonable steps to ensure the association complied with the subsection.
The secretary of an incorporated association must notify the chief executive in the approved form of a change to the membership of the offices of the president, secretary or treasurer within 1 month after it happens.
