### sec.40 Power to accept gifts etc.
The State and each committee may acquire, for any purpose connected with—
the provision of ambulance services; or
any of its functions;
any property by gift, devise or bequest and may agree to carry out the conditions of the gift, devise or bequest.
If the gift, devise or bequest is of property other than money and is given or made to a committee, the property vests in the State on trust for the committee.

(sec.40-ssec.1) The State and each committee may acquire, for any purpose connected with— the provision of ambulance services; or any of its functions; any property by gift, devise or bequest and may agree to carry out the conditions of the gift, devise or bequest.
