### sec.98 Requiring information
The chief executive may, by written notice, ask a person to—
give to the chief executive information in the person’s knowledge about a stated matter within a stated reasonable time and in a stated reasonable way;
give to the chief executive within a stated reasonable time and in a stated reasonable way, a document or copy of a document about a stated matter in the person’s possession or control.
The chief executive may give a notice under subsection (1) only if the information or document the subject of the notice is reasonably required to decide the claim.
A person must comply with a requirement under subsection (1) unless the person has a reasonable excuse.
Maximum penalty—100 penalty units.
It is a reasonable excuse for a person not to give information to the chief executive if doing so might tend to incriminate the person.
