### sec.52 No agreement against the wishes of a parent
A parent of a child may give the chief executive (child safety) notice that the parent does not wish the child to be placed in care under a care agreement.
On receiving a notice under subsection (1) —
the chief executive (child safety) must not enter a care agreement for the child with another parent of the child; or
if a care agreement is in force for the child with another parent of the child, the chief executive (child safety) must end the agreement under section 54 .
(sec.52-ssec.1) A parent of a child may give the chief executive (child safety) notice that the parent does not wish the child to be placed in care under a care agreement.
(sec.52-ssec.2) On receiving a notice under subsection (1) — the chief executive (child safety) must not enter a care agreement for the child with another parent of the child; or if a care agreement is in force for the child with another parent of the child, the chief executive (child safety) must end the agreement under section 54 .
