### sec.253 Release of altered documents This section applies if— the chief executive is required to give a particular document to a person in response to a request under division 2 or 3 ; and the document contains information ( restricted information ) that the chief executive must not give the person because of another provision of this Act to which division 2 or 3 is subject. The chief executive may give the document after altering it so the restricted information can not be read. (sec.253-ssec.1) This section applies if— the chief executive is required to give a particular document to a person in response to a request under division 2 or 3 ; and the document contains information ( restricted information ) that the chief executive must not give the person because of another provision of this Act to which division 2 or 3 is subject.
