### sec.144 Automatic removal from register The chief executive must remove a person’s name from the suitable adoptive parents register if— a final adoption order is made in favour of the person under this Act; or the person is selected from the suitable adoptive parents register as a prospective adoptive parent by the competent authority for another country, under arrangements made between the chief executive and the competent authority, and an adoption order is made in favour of the person in the other country; or the person gives the chief executive a written request to remove the person’s name from the register. - (a) a final adoption order is made in favour of the person under this Act; or - (b) the person is selected from the suitable adoptive parents register as a prospective adoptive parent by the competent authority for another country, under arrangements made between the chief executive and the competent authority, and an adoption order is made in favour of the person in the other country; or - (c) the person gives the chief executive a written request to remove the person’s name from the register.
