### sec.112 Fees
A regulation may prescribe fees for an assessment under this part.
A person being, or to be, assessed under this part must pay a prescribed fee, or part of a prescribed fee, (the required amount ) when required by the chief executive.
The requirement must be written and must state—
the reasonable time within which the required amount must be paid; and
the consequences of non-payment under—
this section; and
if the person’s name is in the expression of interest register— section 80 (1) (b) ; and
if the person has made an application under part 5 — section 100A .
The chief executive need not assess the person, or continue assessing the person, until the required amount is paid.
The chief executive must not enter the person’s name in the suitable adoptive parents register if the required amount is not paid.
An amount stops being a required amount to the extent the chief executive waives payment of it.
