### sec.105 Scope of assessment—persons selected to meet anticipated future need
This section applies to a person selected for assessment under section 88 .
The chief executive must decide the person’s suitability to be an adoptive parent generally.
If the chief executive considers it appropriate, the chief executive may also decide the person’s suitability to be an adoptive parent of a child with particular characteristics.
In deciding whether it would be appropriate to make a decision mentioned in subsection (3) , the chief executive must consider—
the person’s current expression of interest; and
the likely future need for adoptive parents.
(sec.105-ssec.1) This section applies to a person selected for assessment under section 88 .
(sec.105-ssec.2) The chief executive must decide the person’s suitability to be an adoptive parent generally.
(sec.105-ssec.3) If the chief executive considers it appropriate, the chief executive may also decide the person’s suitability to be an adoptive parent of a child with particular characteristics.
(sec.105-ssec.4) In deciding whether it would be appropriate to make a decision mentioned in subsection (3) , the chief executive must consider— the person’s current expression of interest; and the likely future need for adoptive parents.
