### sec.64 Childrens Court magistrate
All proceedings under the Justices Act 1886 for the hearing and determination of charges against children for offences, including committal proceedings, must be heard and determined before a Childrens Court magistrate.
A Childrens Court magistrate has jurisdiction to hear and determine the proceedings.
A Magistrates Court and justices conducting committal proceedings do not have that jurisdiction.
(sec.64-ssec.1) All proceedings under the Justices Act 1886 for the hearing and determination of charges against children for offences, including committal proceedings, must be heard and determined before a Childrens Court magistrate.
