### sec.207 Pre-sentence report must be obtained before detention order sentence
A court may make a detention order against a child only if it has first—
ordered the chief executive to prepare a pre-sentence report; and
received and considered the report.
- (a) ordered the chief executive to prepare a pre-sentence report; and
