### sec.44 Notice of preparation of draft plan
The authority must give public notice when a draft management plan has been prepared.
The notice must—
be published in—
a newspaper circulating throughout Queensland; and
such other newspapers as the authority determines; and
specify the area concerned; and
specify the addresses at which copies of the draft plan may be inspected and, on payment of the prescribed fee, purchased; and
invite submissions from government departments, public authorities, land-holders, local authorities, Aboriginal people particularly concerned with land in the area, interested groups and persons and members of the public; and
specify a day (not earlier than 40 days from the publication of the notice in the newspaper mentioned in paragraph (a) (i) ) by which submissions may be made to the authority.
