### sec.35 Delegation of authority’s powers
Subject to subsection (2) , the board may delegate the authority’s powers to—
an advisory committee; or
a director; or
an officer or employee of the authority; or
the chief executive of a department; or
an officer of the public service; or
the chief executive officer or an employee of a local government.
The board may not delegate powers under any of the following provisions—
part 3 (Management plans);
section 64 (Budget).
A certificate signed by the chairperson stating any matter in relation to a delegation of a power under subsection (1) is evidence of the matter.
A document purporting to be a certificate under subsection (3) is, unless the contrary is established, taken to be such a certificate and to have been properly given.
