### sec.13 Role of the board
The board is responsible for the way in which the authority performs its functions and exercises its powers.
Without limiting subsection (1) , it is the board’s role—
to decide the objectives, strategies and policies to be followed by the authority; and
to ensure that the authority performs its functions in a proper, effective and efficient way.
(sec.13-ssec.1) The board is responsible for the way in which the authority performs its functions and exercises its powers.
(sec.13-ssec.2) Without limiting subsection (1) , it is the board’s role— to decide the objectives, strategies and policies to be followed by the authority; and to ensure that the authority performs its functions in a proper, effective and efficient way.
