### sec.61 Shortening firearms
A person must not, without reasonable excuse—
shorten a firearm; or
possess a firearm that has been shortened; or
acquire or sell a firearm that has been shortened.
Maximum penalty—700 penalty units or 14 years imprisonment.

- (a) shorten a firearm; or
- (b) possess a firearm that has been shortened; or
