### sec.11 Genuine reasons for possession of a weapon
The following are reasons for possession of a weapon—
sports or target shooting;
recreational shooting;
an occupational requirement, including an occupational requirement for rural purposes;
the collection, preservation or study of weapons;
another reason prescribed under a regulation.
