### sec.648 Continuation of existing flood mitigation manuals This section applies to a flood mitigation manual (an existing flood mitigation manual ) for a dam that was approved under pre-amended section 371 and in force immediately before the commencement. The existing flood mitigation manual— is taken to be an approved flood mitigation manual; and continues in force for the balance of the period for which it was approved under pre-amended section 371 (the existing approval period ). In this section— pre-amended , in relation to a provision, means the provision as it was in force immediately before the commencement. s 648 ins 2012 No. 29 s 38 (sec.648-ssec.1) This section applies to a flood mitigation manual (an existing flood mitigation manual ) for a dam that was approved under pre-amended section 371 and in force immediately before the commencement.
