### sec.583 Fees and charges payable to chief executive and regulator
This section applies to a fee or charge payable under a regulation made under this Act to the chief executive or regulator.
If an amount of a fee or charge remains unpaid after the day stated in the regulation for payment of the fee or charge—
the amount is a debt payable to the State; and
the late fee prescribed in the regulation applies to the amount.
The Minister may waive all or part of a fee or charge payable by a person if the Minister is satisfied payment of the fee would cause financial hardship to the person because of the effects of—
drought, flood, fire or other natural disaster; or
economic recession.
(sec.583-ssec.1) This section applies to a fee or charge payable under a regulation made under this Act to the chief executive or regulator.
