### sec.577 Records to be kept in registries
If the chief executive gives an owner or operator of a dam a notice under section 359 (1) , the chief executive must give the registrar of titles a copy of the notice.
The registrar of titles must record the notice in a way that a search of the register kept by the registrar under any Act relating to the land mentioned in section 359 (1) will show that—
a notice has been given under section 359 (1) for the land; and
particulars of the notice may be obtained from the chief executive.
If the chief executive is satisfied the notice has been complied with or is no longer required, the chief executive must ask the registrar of titles to remove the notice from the register.
If the registrar of titles receives a request under section 361 , the registrar must register, release or vary the charge according to the request.

(sec.577-ssec.4) If the registrar of titles receives a request under section 361 , the registrar must register, release or vary the charge according to the request.
- (a) a notice has been given under section 359 (1) for the land; and
- (b) particulars of the notice may be obtained from the chief executive.
