### sec.498 Proceeding brought in a representative capacity
A proceeding mentioned in section 497 (1) may be started by a person on behalf of an entity with the entity’s consent.
If the entity on whose behalf the proceeding is started is an unincorporated body, the body’s committee or other controlling or governing body must give the consent.
The entity on whose behalf the proceeding is started may contribute to, or pay, the legal costs incurred by the person starting the proceeding.
