### sec.355 Process after deciding safety conditions
When the chief executive has decided the safety conditions for a dam, the chief executive must—
give the owner of the dam an information notice about the safety conditions; and
give the local government for the area a copy of the safety conditions.
If a development permit has been given, or is taken to have been given, for the construction of the dam, the safety conditions are taken to be conditions attaching to the permit.
If a development permit has not been given for the construction of the dam—
the chief executive’s decision is taken to be a development permit given for the construction of the dam; and
the safety conditions are taken to be conditions attaching to the permit.
An information notice about the safety conditions need not include reasons for each safety condition.
