### sec.347 Offences about failure impact assessments
A person must not certify a failure impact assessment containing information the person knows is false or misleading.
Maximum penalty—1,665 penalty units.
A person must not give another person who is certifying a failure impact assessment information the person knows—
the other person will rely on when certifying the failure impact assessment; and
is false or misleading.
Maximum penalty—1,665 penalty units.
It is enough for a complaint for an offence against subsection (1) or (2) to state the assessment or information given to the person certifying the assessment was false or misleading to the person’s knowledge, without specifying whether it was false or whether it was misleading.
