### sec.105 Meaning of auditor
This section applies in relation to—
an audit of a service provider’s drinking water quality management plan; or
an audit of data in a service provider’s performance report.
A person is an auditor for the audit if the person—
is not the provider or an employee of the provider; and
if the provider is a prescribed related entity of a relevant infrastructure owner—is not the owner or an employee of the owner; and
is not employed in the operation of the provider’s infrastructure.
Also, the person must—
for an audit mentioned in subsection (1) (a) —
be certified under the Drinking Water-Quality Management System Auditor Certification Scheme to audit drinking water quality management plans; or
have another qualification the regulator is satisfied is at least equivalent to the certification mentioned in subparagraph (i) ; or
for an audit mentioned in subsection (1) (b) —be suitably qualified.

(sec.105-ssec.1) This section applies in relation to— an audit of a service provider’s drinking water quality management plan; or an audit of data in a service provider’s performance report.
(sec.105-ssec.2) A person is an auditor for the audit if the person— is not the provider or an employee of the provider; and if the provider is a prescribed related entity of a relevant infrastructure owner—is not the owner or an employee of the owner; and is not employed in the operation of the provider’s infrastructure.
(sec.105-ssec.3) Also, the person must— for an audit mentioned in subsection (1) (a) — be certified under the Drinking Water-Quality Management System Auditor Certification Scheme to audit drinking water quality management plans; or have another qualification the regulator is satisfied is at least equivalent to the certification mentioned in subparagraph (i) ; or for an audit mentioned in subsection (1) (b) —be suitably qualified.
- (a) an audit of a service provider’s drinking water quality management plan; or
- (b) an audit of data in a service provider’s performance report.
- (a) is not the provider or an employee of the provider; and
- (b) if the provider is a prescribed related entity of a relevant infrastructure owner—is not the owner or an employee of the owner; and
- (c) is not employed in the operation of the provider’s infrastructure.
- (a) for an audit mentioned in subsection (1) (a) — (i) be certified under the Drinking Water-Quality Management System Auditor Certification Scheme to audit drinking water quality management plans; or (ii) have another qualification the regulator is satisfied is at least equivalent to the certification mentioned in subparagraph (i) ; or
- (i) be certified under the Drinking Water-Quality Management System Auditor Certification Scheme to audit drinking water quality management plans; or
- (ii) have another qualification the regulator is satisfied is at least equivalent to the certification mentioned in subparagraph (i) ; or
- (b) for an audit mentioned in subsection (1) (b) —be suitably qualified.
- (i) be certified under the Drinking Water-Quality Management System Auditor Certification Scheme to audit drinking water quality management plans; or
- (ii) have another qualification the regulator is satisfied is at least equivalent to the certification mentioned in subparagraph (i) ; or
