### sec.93 General authorisations to take water A person may do any of the following— take water for a public purpose in an emergency situation; take water for fighting a fire; take water for undertaking routine testing of fire fighting equipment; take water from a watercourse, lake or spring for camping purposes; take water from a watercourse, lake or spring for watering travelling stock. s 93 sub 2014 No. 64 ss 67 (1) , 68 amd 2018 No. 24 s 246 - (a) take water for a public purpose in an emergency situation; - (b) take water for fighting a fire; - (c) take water for undertaking routine testing of fire fighting equipment; - (d) take water from a watercourse, lake or spring for camping purposes; - (e) take water from a watercourse, lake or spring for watering travelling stock.
