### sec.757B Securing seized things Having seized a thing, an authorised officer may— move the thing from the place where it was seized (the place of seizure ); or leave the thing at the place of seizure but take reasonable action to restrict access to it; or sealing a thing and marking it to show access to it is restricted sealing the entrance to a place where the thing is situated and marking it to show access to it is restricted if the thing is equipment—make it inoperable. dismantling equipment or removing a component of equipment without which the equipment is not capable of being used s 757B ins 2005 No. 19 s 130 - (a) move the thing from the place where it was seized (the place of seizure ); or - (b) leave the thing at the place of seizure but take reasonable action to restrict access to it; or Examples of restricting access to a thing— 1 sealing a thing and marking it to show access to it is restricted 2 sealing the entrance to a place where the thing is situated and marking it to show access to it is restricted - 1 sealing a thing and marking it to show access to it is restricted - 2 sealing the entrance to a place where the thing is situated and marking it to show access to it is restricted - (c) if the thing is equipment—make it inoperable.
