### sec.738U Disposal of public records This section applies if— a thing is done under a transfer notice or project direction; and the thing is, or involves, a disposal of a public record under the Public Records Act 2023 . To remove any doubt, it is declared that, for the purpose of section 23 of that Act, the public record is disposed of under legal authority. s 738U ins 2017 No. 2 s 4 amd 2023 No. 33 s 107 sch 5 exp 1 July 2027 (see s 738ZJ) AIA s 20A applies (see s 738ZK) (sec.738U-ssec.1) This section applies if— a thing is done under a transfer notice or project direction; and the thing is, or involves, a disposal of a public record under the Public Records Act 2023 . (sec.738U-ssec.2) To remove any doubt, it is declared that, for the purpose of section 23 of that Act, the public record is disposed of under legal authority. - (a) a thing is done under a transfer notice or project direction; and - (b) the thing is, or involves, a disposal of a public record under the Public Records Act 2023 .
