### sec.583 Identification and disclosure of cross-subsidies
This section applies to water authorities that charge on a volumetric basis for water the authorities manage and are prescribed by regulation.
Each water authority must include in its annual report a statement—
identifying and disclosing all cross-subsidies between classes of its ratepayers or customers in carrying out its water activities; and
disclosing—
the classes of its ratepayers or customers for whom a water activity is carried out at an amount below the full cost of the activity; and
the amount.
The cross-subsidies must be calculated in accordance with the guidelines, if any, issued by the chief executive for calculating cross-subsidies.

(sec.583-ssec.1) This section applies to water authorities that charge on a volumetric basis for water the authorities manage and are prescribed by regulation.
