### sec.579 Delegation
A water authority may, in writing, delegate its powers to a director or an appropriately qualified employee of the authority.
A person must not, in relation to a matter, exercise a power that has been delegated to the person under subsection (1) if the person has a direct or indirect financial or personal interest in the matter.
Maximum penalty for subsection (2) —100 penalty units.
