### sec.550 Water authority is a body corporate etc.
A water authority—
is a body corporate; and
has a seal; and
may sue and be sued in its corporate name.
A water authority has all the powers of an individual and may, for example—
enter into contracts; and
acquire, hold, deal with and dispose of property.
Subsection (2) does not limit a water authority’s powers under this or another Act.
A water authority does not represent the State.

(sec.550-ssec.1) A water authority— is a body corporate; and has a seal; and may sue and be sued in its corporate name.
