### sec.456 Functions of office The office’s main functions are— to advise the chief executive on matters relating to impacts on underground water caused by the exercise of underground water rights by resource tenure holders; and to establish and maintain a database of information about underground water; and to prepare underground water impact reports for cumulative management areas.
