### sec.238 Deciding whether to proceed with proposed amendment, suspension or cancellation of allocation notice In deciding whether to amend, suspend or cancel the allocation notice, the chief executive must consider any properly made submission about the proposed amendment, suspension or cancellation. If the chief executive is satisfied the allocation notice should be amended, suspended or cancelled, the chief executive must amend, suspend or cancel the allocation notice. If the chief executive is satisfied the allocation notice should not be amended, suspended or cancelled, the chief executive must give the holder a notice that the allocation notice will not be amended, suspended or cancelled. Within 30 business days after amending, suspending or cancelling the allocation notice, the chief executive must give the holder an information notice about the decision to amend, suspend or cancel the notice. The amendment, suspension or cancellation takes effect the day the holder is given the information notice. If the allocation notice is amended, the chief executive must give the holder an amended allocation notice. If the allocation notice is suspended, it is of no effect during the period of suspension and, after the suspension, remains in effect only for the period during which it would have been in effect but for the suspension.
