### sec.230 Deciding application for allocation of quarry material
If the chief executive is satisfied the application should be granted, or granted in part, the chief executive must grant the application, with or without conditions.
If the chief executive is not satisfied the application should be granted, the chief executive must refuse the application.
Within 30 business days after deciding the application, the chief executive must give the applicant—
notice of the decision; and
if the chief executive grants all or part of the application, with or without conditions—an allocation notice in the approved form.
The allocation notice—
has effect from the day stated in the notice; and
remains in force, unless sooner cancelled, suspended or surrendered, for the period decided by the chief executive of not more than 5 years.
