### sec.185 Chief executive may amend resource operations licence or distribution operations licence in an emergency The chief executive may amend a resource operations licence or distribution operations licence if the chief executive is satisfied this is necessary— to deal with a shortage of water for essential services or town water supply; or because there is a risk to public safety.
