### sec.157 Transfers or leases of water allocations not managed under a resource operations licence
A water allocation holder who proposes to transfer or lease a water allocation not managed under a resource operations licence must give the chief executive notice of the proposed transfer or lease.
The notice must be—
in the approved form; and
accompanied by the fee prescribed by regulation.
The chief executive must give the water allocation holder a certificate about the proposed transfer or lease within 10 business days after receiving the notice.

(sec.157-ssec.1) A water allocation holder who proposes to transfer or lease a water allocation not managed under a resource operations licence must give the chief executive notice of the proposed transfer or lease.
(sec.157-ssec.2) The notice must be— in the approved form; and accompanied by the fee prescribed by regulation.
(sec.157-ssec.3) The chief executive must give the water allocation holder a certificate about the proposed transfer or lease within 10 business days after receiving the notice.
