### sec.150 Amending water allocations Subsection (2) applies if— a water plan states that a water allocation must be amended; or there is a change to the name of the water management area that includes the location from which water under a water allocation may be taken; or there is a change to the name of the resource operations licence under which a water allocation is managed. The chief executive must— amend the water allocation in accordance with the plan or the change; and within 30 days from the day the amendment takes effect, give the allocation holder a notice about the amendment. On the day the water allocation is amended, the registrar must record on the water allocations register details of the amendment.
