### sec.148 Relationship between water plans and water allocation
Taking water under a water allocation is subject to—
the water plan for a plan area; and
either—
for a water allocation managed under a resource operations licence—the conditions of the resource operations licence and any operations manual; or
for a water allocation not managed under a resource operations licence—the water management protocol.
If there is a conflict between the water plan and the water allocation, the plan prevails.

(sec.148-ssec.1) Taking water under a water allocation is subject to— the water plan for a plan area; and either— for a water allocation managed under a resource operations licence—the conditions of the resource operations licence and any operations manual; or for a water allocation not managed under a resource operations licence—the water management protocol.
(sec.148-ssec.2) If there is a conflict between the water plan and the water allocation, the plan prevails.
- (a) the water plan for a plan area; and
- (b) either— (i) for a water allocation managed under a resource operations licence—the conditions of the resource operations licence and any operations manual; or (ii) for a water allocation not managed under a resource operations licence—the water management protocol.
- (i) for a water allocation managed under a resource operations licence—the conditions of the resource operations licence and any operations manual; or
- (ii) for a water allocation not managed under a resource operations licence—the water management protocol.
- (i) for a water allocation managed under a resource operations licence—the conditions of the resource operations licence and any operations manual; or
- (ii) for a water allocation not managed under a resource operations licence—the water management protocol.
