### sec.143 Meaning of element of a water allocation
For this division, an element of a water allocation is an attribute or a condition of the allocation.
The following are attributes of a water allocation—
the nominal volume for the allocation;
the maximum rate;
the volumetric limit.
The following are conditions of a water allocation—
the location from which the water may be taken under the allocation;
the purpose for which the water may be taken under the allocation;
flow conditions under which the water may be taken;
any other condition required by the chief executive under section 152 (1) (e) .

(sec.143-ssec.1) For this division, an element of a water allocation is an attribute or a condition of the allocation.
