### sec.129 When chief executive must refuse application
If the granting of the application would be inconsistent with a water plan, water management protocol, water entitlement notice or the seasonal water assignment rules prescribed in a regulation, the chief executive must refuse the application without notice of the application being published.
Within 30 business days after refusing the application, the chief executive must give the applicant a notice under section 114 about the refusal.
