### sec.1280A When reporting and monitoring requirements prescribed both by regulation and water planning instrument Subsection (2) applies if, after the commencement— a regulation is made prescribing either of the following— the matters that must be included in the report prepared by the Minister about each water plan under section 49; the requirements for the holders of resource operations licences and distribution operation licences in collecting and providing information to the chief executive; and there are provisions in a water planning instrument dealing with the same subject matter that are inconsistent with the matters prescribed by the regulation. The provisions of the water planning instrument prevail over the regulation to the extent of the inconsistency. s 1280A ins 2014 No. 64 s 201 (sec.1280A-ssec.1) Subsection (2) applies if, after the commencement— a regulation is made prescribing either of the following— the matters that must be included in the report prepared by the Minister about each water plan under section 49; the requirements for the holders of resource operations licences and distribution operation licences in collecting and providing information to the chief executive; and there are provisions in a water planning instrument dealing with the same subject matter that are inconsistent with the matters prescribed by the regulation.
