### sec.1254 Request or notice by chief executive under unamended Act
This section applies if—
the chief executive has, before the commencement, given a notice or made a request under the unamended Act for a person, entity or constructing authority to give information, to comply with conditions or to do anything else; and
the person, entity or constructing authority has not complied with the notice or request before the commencement.
The notice or request is taken to be given under the corresponding provisions of the amended Act and may be continued under that Act after the commencement.
This section does not apply to a notice under section 1267.

(sec.1254-ssec.1) This section applies if— the chief executive has, before the commencement, given a notice or made a request under the unamended Act for a person, entity or constructing authority to give information, to comply with conditions or to do anything else; and the person, entity or constructing authority has not complied with the notice or request before the commencement.
(sec.1254-ssec.2) The notice or request is taken to be given under the corresponding provisions of the amended Act and may be continued under that Act after the commencement.
(sec.1254-ssec.3) This section does not apply to a notice under section 1267.

- (b) the person, entity or constructing authority has not complied with the notice or request before the commencement.
