### sec.104 Definitions for div 2
In this division—
owner , of land, means any of the following—
the registered proprietor of the land;
the lessee, sublessee or licensee of the land under the Land Act 1994 ;
the trustee of a reserve over the land or the holder of a permit to occupy the land under the Land Act 1994 ;
the lessee of the land under a registered lease under the Land Title Act 1994 .
prescribed entity means any of the following—
the State;
a local government;
the applicant for a resource tenure;
a resource tenure holder;
the holder of a geothermal tenure under the Geothermal Energy Act 2010 relating to the land;
the holder of a GHG tenure under the Greenhouse Gas Storage Act 2009 relating to the land;
the plantation licensee of a plantation licence under the Forestry Act 1959 ;
a water authority;
the holder of a resource operations licence, distribution operations licence or an operations licence;
the holder of, or applicant for, a pipeline licence or petroleum facility licence under the Petroleum and Gas Act ;
CEWH;
an entity prescribed by regulation.

- (a) the registered proprietor of the land;
- (b) the lessee, sublessee or licensee of the land under the Land Act 1994 ;
- (c) the trustee of a reserve over the land or the holder of a permit to occupy the land under the Land Act 1994 ;
- (d) the lessee of the land under a registered lease under the Land Title Act 1994 .
- (a) the State;
- (b) a local government;
- (c) the applicant for a resource tenure;
- (d) a resource tenure holder;
- (e) the holder of a geothermal tenure under the Geothermal Energy Act 2010 relating to the land;
- (f) the holder of a GHG tenure under the Greenhouse Gas Storage Act 2009 relating to the land;
- (g) the plantation licensee of a plantation licence under the Forestry Act 1959 ;
- (h) a water authority;
- (i) the holder of a resource operations licence, distribution operations licence or an operations licence;
- (j) the holder of, or applicant for, a pipeline licence or petroleum facility licence under the Petroleum and Gas Act ;
- (k) CEWH;
- (l) an entity prescribed by regulation.
